A recent graduate with an MFA in Illustration at University of Hartford
Low-Residency Illustration program. I've been an adjunct faculty member
at Brigham Young University Visual Arts Department for 10+ years,
teaching the Beginning and Intermediate Digital Illustration class, and Color Theory.
My clients have been WordPerfect Magazine, Insight Magazine, Corel
Corp., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bookcraft
Publishing, MStar Inc., IBM Educational Systems, NextPage, BYU Young Ambassadors, BYU Center for Teaching and Learning, BYU Independent Study
and many more whose names are escaping me. Recently I have published a children's book/app entitled Spot's Soup that I authored/illustrated.
My work has been shown in the Society of Illustrators West 2012 Show, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 7th International Art Show, Springville Museum Spring Salon, Springville Museum Religious Art Show, several Brigham Young University Faculty and Alumni shows, as well as a retrospective art exhibition at BYU of my work.
I also count myself lucky to be a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, as well as the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles.
My goal is to be as famous as my nieces and nephews think I am. Feel free to contact me at suzyg.illustration[at]gmail.com.
